Certains rabbins kabbalistes croient aussi que Caïn et Abel seraient d’un bagage génétique différent de Seth.
Cette idée est parfois présentée comme une « théorie des origines ».
La théorie enseigne que Dieu aurait créé deux « Adams » (Adamah = homme en hébreu — Biblical Hebrew : אדמה).
À l’un il donna une âme, mais pas à l’autre. Celui sans âme serait la créature connue dans le christianisme comme le serpent.

In The Holy Kabbalah (Arthur Edward Waite, 255), Samael is described as the "wrath of God", and is listed as fifth of the archangels of the world of Briah.
Also in the Kabbalah, Samael was said to be the Serpent who tempted Eve into sin.

Un pasteur influent prêche l’antisémitisme à ses ouailles.
Deux fois par an, presque 4000 des membres de sa communauté viennent par avion ou en voiture du pays tout entier pour voir le pasteur Arnold Murray, animateur de l’émission télévisée d’études bibliques, diffusée depuis longtemps « la chapelle du berger ».
La Semence du Serpent est une croyance qui vient directement de la théorie théologique des « deux semences » ou de « la lignée de la semence » de l’Identité Chrétienne, théorie qui prétend qu’Eve aurait été fécondée par Satan et aurait ainsi donné naissance au fils de celui-ci, Caïn, décrit comme étant le premier Juif.
Ainsi, les Juifs seraient la descendance biologique de Satan et prépareraient activement le monde à sa loi. Les adhérents du mouvement « Identité chrétienne » prétendent également que les blancs, non les Juifs, sont les réels Hébreux de la Bible et que les non-blancs sont des sous-hommes, les « bêtes des champs », crées sans âme.
Malgré ces attaches aux sources du mouvement Identité chrétienne, Murray aujourd’hui désavoue publiquement le racisme et parmi ses adhérents on peut trouver une petite minorité de non-blancs. Cependant,
Murray, dans ses prêches, parle souvent d’une race mauvaise, descendante de Caïn, née de la « semence du serpent », de l’union sexuelle d’Eve avec Satan dans le Jardin d’Eden. Il appelle cette race « les Kénites » et les identifie, dans sa Bible des Bergers de 1979, à des gens qui se seraient «glissés parmi le peuple juif de Jérusalem et prétendent être le peuple élu de Dieu quand en fait ils viennent de Lucifer. Il mentionne qu’en 1967 Jérusalem serait tombée aux mains des «Kénites» pendant la guerre des Six jours. L’intronisation de Murray en 1958 a été signée par feu Roy Gillaspie et feu Kenneth Goff, partisans de la suprématie blanche et idéologues du mouvement «Identité chrétienne», théologie raciste populaire parmi les Klansmen, les néo-nazis et autres nationalistes blancs depuis plusieurs dizaines d’années. La plupart de ses adhérents croient que la Bible raconte l’histoire de la race blanche, vue comme le véritable «peuple élu».
